With over 20 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, Billy brings a unique, scientific rigor to the study of the elusive Sasquatch—a creature that has fascinated him since his childhood in Virginia.  Driven by an early interest sparked by films like The Legend of Boggy Creek, Billy turned his curiosity into action in 2005. Alongside his sons, he founded Sasquatch Watch of Virginia, an organization dedicated to investigating sightings with a "no-harm" policy. His research has taken him from the rugged Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia to the remote woods of Lake Anna, Virginia.  His investigations have been featured by major media outlets including Fox News, The Washington Post, and Getty Images.

We conduct thorough research, interview experts, and review sighting reports to maintain our high standards. Additionally, we welcomed 2024 Bigfooter of the Year, Todd Prescott, which at age 18, he started doing solo field research which would continue for several years.  He traveled throughout Ontario and British Columbia following up on numerous reports and partaking in solo research outings.  In 2012 through 2014, he met several times with John Green and was granted access to Green's massive collection of letters, photos, slides, negatives, and cassette recording of interviews dating back to the late 1950s.
